Scarf: 60 x 10 inches (152 x 25cm) Plant Dyed, Hand Woven Wool.
Scarves are handwoven on a traditional hand loom, neatly building the colours of the design, checking edges for neatness and the fabric for the right tension by hand. There is no magical device to assist! It takes around three hours to weave in medium weight, double knit wool or cotton, around five hours in light weight 4-ply and seven hours in laceweight. Each one is then hand finished, knotting the ends carefully.
